The Influencer’s Journey
Henry David Thorough spoke of you. He said “if a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.”
You never meant for people to follow you. You didn’t necessarily want to be a leader. You just wanted to reach out and create something different in the world because the world so deeply needed it.
Then your message caught traction. Your name started showing up everywhere. Everyone wanted a piece of you and you woke up and went, “Where the H@4$ am I?”
Leadership for you means finding the inner strength to make space for yourself in the midst of all the other hats and definitions the world wants you to wear. It’s not just about you continuing to recognize your own voice, it is about the world continuing to hear your voice. Your voice. And it stays real. And it stays authentic. And it stays loved. By you. Whether or not the rest of them get it or not.
